Palmer-Gosnell Management, Inc. (PGM) brings together a unique set of skills and resources normally found only in larger hotel development and management companies. Our team provides a level of professionalism and experience, coupled with responsiveness and a hands-on approach: 

  • A highly experienced team of principals leads our group. They founded PGM in 1995, and have been in the hospitality business for over twenty five years. Their roots in the development and construction business go back over seventy-five years.
  • PGM and its principals have developed, or are actively developing, eight hotels for ownership entities they control. In addition, PGM manages several hotels for a third party. We are actively pursuing additional development opportunities in the United States and Canada, some with equity partners with specific expertise in their own local markets.
  • Four hotels developed by PGM and affiliated companies and managed by PGM were sold in 2007 at premium sales prices, the result of a long track record of superior operating performance. PGM’s management team was instrumental in the sales transaction. The purchaser of three of the four hotels sold engaged PGM to continue managing the hotels, along with additional hotels owned by the purchaser.
  • Our principals approach each project through the eyes of owners, with a long-term view coupled with an attention to the day-to-day details that ensure continued success. Our principals have a significant direct investment in each hotel we develop.
  • We have a proven track record of attracting and retaining highly experienced individuals to develop and operate our projects.
  • Through affiliated companies, we have franchise agreements with two of the most respected names in lodging: Marriott and Hilton Hotels. These agreements include Fairfield Inns, Fairfield Inn and Suites, Courtyard, and Hampton Inn.
  • PGM is affiliated with the Gosnell Companies- a group of construction, development, and property management companies. PGM and the affiliated companies are capable of bringing together resources to accomplish all facets of hotel development and management, including feasibility analysis, land development, design, construction management, and operations management.
  • PGM has the infrastructure in place to continue to expand. Our systems are easily scaleable. Our organization includes a Vice President of Operations, a Controller/CPA, a Director of Facilities responsible for engineering oversight of all hotels, and multi-property marketing expertise. 

We are constantly looking for ways to improve through comparing the performance of our hotels, cultivating our relationships with franchisors such as Marriott and Hilton, and making full use of our contacts with a broad network of operators, developers and owners throughout the United States. 

Our hotels have achieved outstanding results as measured by guest satisfaction, Smith Travel Research market indices, and financial performance. Our hotels and managers have won numerous awards, and the hotels consistently rank in the top 25% in guest satisfaction for their brands.
